The Challenge
HÖRMANN Digital sought to test a retrofit solution to enable predictive maintenance of automated warehouse facilities. With diverse machinery and equipment in use at different test locations, the goal was to deliver a proof of concept that could identify and address potential issues before they caused downtime. The Solution
Tactical Edge supported HÖRMANN Digital to deploy AWS MONITRON, an end-to-end predictive maintenance solution, in two large-scale Proof of Concepts (POCs).
MONITRON leverages AI and IoT sensors to monitor equipment for potential failures, providing real-time alerts for preventive maintenance. The system was integrated across key machinery to ensure early detection of anomalies, minimizing unplanned downtime.
